Love your lawn

Is your dog’s pee a pain in your grass?

Most people believe it is the "acid" in a dog’s urine that causes the brown patches left behind on our lawns, that’s not true, the real culprit causing burning in your lawn is the high nitrogen content of the dog's urine.

At Scampers we have tried and tested natural ways to reduce brown or burnt patches on your lawn.  We highly recommend the following: -

Chief testers, Rooster and Sardine, are raw fed so we are using Dog Rocks, together with Super Shaker Super Lawn and a dash of Ha-Pee Lawns in their water.  We have found this to be very effective and we are constantly being complimented on how beautiful and green our lawn is.

If you don’t want to invest in the natural way, you can always try the time-consuming way.  All you have to do is use a lead to control where your dog urinates, water the lawn right after your dog urinates to dilute the nitrogen on the grass and dilute your dog's urine by encouraging them to drink more water. (laugh out loud)

Scampers Natural Pet Store is open seven days a week and easy to find on the A142 Soham by-pass between Ely and Newmarket.
