My dog is bored with his food.
One of the most frequently asked questions we get is "My dog must be bored eating the same food all the time?"
Actually he is not.
Boredom with our food is a human trait. Dogs are creatures of habit and usually are more than happy with just one food. Dogs generally eat only to meet their energy or their nutritional needs.
BUT, if you introduce variety into their diet they will learn to expect it, even demand it! We have all experienced our dogs 'turning their nose up'.
Dogs have a very short digestive systems, and if their diet is abruptly or frequently changed, digestive disturbances can occur. And of course you are teaching your dog to be a finicky/fussy eater.
